PROSEDUR PEMERIKSAAN COLON IN LOOP DENGAN KLINIS FECALOMA DI INSTALASI RADIOLOGI RSUD ARIFIN ACHMAD PROVINSI RIAU

Abstract

Colon In Loop examination with indication of Fecaloma at Radiology Department of Arifin Achmad Hospital performed using addition Lateral Post Evacuation projections. This research was conducted with the aim to know the procedure of Colon In Loop examination with indication of Fecaloma as well as the reason used addition Lateral Post Evacuation projections This research has been uses qualitative design with case study approach. Data were collected from April to August 2020 using method in-depth interview and study document. Data analysis used in writing this scientific paper is descriptive analysis. The results showed that the procedure of Colon In Loop examination with indication of Fecaloma at Radiology Department Arifin Achmad Hospital Hospital began with patient preparation, preparation of tools and materials, contrast media input, and the exposure starting from plain abdominal photo AnteroPosterior plain, AnteroPosterior Post Contrast, Right Lateral, AnteroPosterior Addition Contrast, Prone, AnteroPosterior Post Evacuation and Lateral Post Evacuation.. The reason for using addition Lateral Post Evacuation projections in Colon In Loop examination with indication of Fecaloma at Radiology Department Arifin Achmad Hospital is to know more clearly the anatomy, location of the fecaloma, to be able to evaluate the contrast passage and to be able to evaluate the complications caused by the fecaloma.
